Entry into the Club

Entry into the Club for swimmers is by coach assessment where the swimmer is invited to attend a trial. This opportunity is available to swimmers of all ages and abilities who are accepted into the Club.

As a rough guide, young entry level swimmers who are participating on the ASA National Plan for Swimming, need to be at least Badge 6 level, however this is not a hard & fast rule. The coach will assess the swimmers technique in frontcrawl, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. The coach with either advise what needs to be done before entry into the Club is possible or welcome the swimmer to the Club. If there is a waiting list, it may be necessary to be patient until a space becomes available in suitable sessions.
